Aziz Ansari brings his signature flair of comedy to this special. He manages to break free from his usual blend of same lame Kanye West jokes and entertains us with a bunch of absurd but logical conclusions.

His focus on marriage, children, love and life is refreshing to say the least. This could be primarily due to the fact that I am kinds experiencing those changing facets in my personal life as well. Hilarious to say the least. It is clear that these jokes and scenarios are direct reflections of his own fears on the subject.

He tries to do a Jimmy Carr with his improv when encountering the “Let me hear how you proposed” section when he talks to a couple in the crowd. His comic timing and instant reflexes are a treat to watch. Although no way near the razor sharp wit of the master, he manages to hold his own.

Aziz has definitely come a long way since his debut and previous specials. No more do we have to sit through 10 minutes of “Raaaaandyyy”… He manages to put together a series of intelligent and comical stories to entertain us to the end. His style of comedy has a certain social element to it and is drastically different from your usual run off the mill stuff from other Indian origin comedians like Russell Peters and Paul Varghese.

In short – Nothing that will make you fall of your seat laughing but will surely make you laugh and think at the same time.
